The site takes the user on a tour of a virtual house, allowing them to view a range of aluminium windows and doors in a variety of realistic settings. Mark Gilbert, Marketing Manager of NALCO says that this innovative technique not only provides a clear idea of what the joinery looks like, it also shows what it can do. "People can then make an educated decision on the doors and windows that fit in best with their plans."
He adds that a key benefit of the site is that it allows the user to zoom right in to joinery construction details and discover how the unique WeatherTight™ technology protects homes from water damage.
"It’s all animated and has a voice-over so people who may not be familiar with joinery will get a good understanding of all the benefits," Mark says.
Visitors to the site can also download hardware brochures and colour options for a range of windows and doors, view commonly used configurations and get some helpful design tips.
"Choosing windows and doors can be an involved process," Mark explains. "We’ve designed this site to make the whole process a lot easier."
